NerdsToGo Sees New Growth and Expansion on the Horizon. While NerdsToGo has always envisioned a world where people are remotely connected with ease and have access to reliable IT support since we first began franchising in 2017, we have never expected the growth we have seen in the last year. We believe there is currently, and will continue to be, a large demand for this reliable, efficient, and professional IT support that allows us to provide a franchise opportunity that continues to be simply unbeatable.

Remote working becoming the norm, our merging with Propelled brands, and new location agreements have set us on track for explosive growth within this next year and beyond!

Propelled Brands Acquisition of NerdsToGo

NerdsToGo was acquired by Propelled Brands, the parent company of FASTSIGNS®, the leading sign, graphics, and visual communications franchisor in North America in September of 2020. Under this new agreement, new leadership, and Propelled’s proven success, NerdsToGo’s franchise owners will benefit from the likes of ongoing training and support, and unparalleled resources not seen before.This assistance will help us position ourselves as a true national leader in the space, as well as strengthen our brand in local communities.

The acquiring of NerdsToGo by Propelled Brands was an obvious choice, specifically due to the increased demand for IT support during the pandemic. "Remote work is a part of the 'new normal,' and we see a huge opportunity for managed IT services for both small and medium-sized companies," said Mark Jameson, Chief Support and Development Officer of Propelled Brands. "[We have] grown FASTSIGNS to be the leader in its category and with a proven business model, we aspire to duplicate that strategy with NerdsToGo. With the brand's authority in the business-to-business sector, we are looking to utilize our expertise to grow NerdsToGo to be a powerhouse brand."

With the normalization of working and socializing from the comfort of our home, our leading computer and technology repair services will naturally have the opportunity to expand into various communities across the United States. Currently, we have 25 independently owned franchise locations in 16 states and have plans to sell 30 new franchise locations nationwide to expand our mark in more communities.

With a long-term goal of growing to over 500 locations and dedication to seeking out expansion in markets that serve more than 100,000 people, we are excited to kick off this plan with two new agreements that have been signed. These agreements will help develop new locations in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Asheville, North Carolina.

Don and Susan Dally will serve as the Area Representatives to lead the brand's development efforts across the state of Tennessee as well as expand into Knoxville. "During my career, I've had the good fortune to experience both franchising and corporate America. When I looked back over my career, it was clear that being a franchisee was the most rewarding.” Don continued “Susan and I decided to return to the model that allows me to go into business for myself, but not by myself. Once I learned about NerdsToGo's proven business model and unlimited resources and support, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”
